Andrew Egizio is a Freelance Trumpet Player located in the Chicagoland Area. His expertise is in the area of jazz and similar genres. In addition, he is also well versed in classical settings, with experience playing in Orchestras and Brass Quintets.
His beginning years started in the West Suburbs of Chicago. He quickly became a fixture in Saint Charles's jazz scene, when a group that he co-founded, started playing at many restaurants throughout the city. He was an integral member of the well respected Saint Charles East High School Jazz Workshop, playing with the band at festivals at the University of Kansas, as well as internationally at festivals in Tokyo. By his senior year in high school, Egizio had been awarded the solo chair in the Honors Jazz Band at ILMEA All-State.
He has also been able to perform with musicians such as Donny McCaslin, Dave Douglas, and Nicholas Payton, among others.

Egizio currently attends DePaul University in Chicago, where he is a Class of 2020 Jazz Studies major. He is currently in the DePaul Jazz Workshop under the direction of Dana Hall
Egizio also has lots of experience teaching private lessons to trumpet students. He is a trumpet teacher sub at multiple shops in the Saint Charles area.
Andrew currently plays on a Yamaha 8310z Bobby Shew trumpet, and a Yamaha YFH-731 Flugelhorn.
